Pure lavender oil is blended with citrussy orange blossom to give a modern yet classic, fresh and uplifting fragrance. Orange Blossom & Lavender has been with us since the beginning and has become a Klinta staple.
Incense has been used since time immemorial in mainly religious contexts. Nowadays, incense is also used as a mood enhancer in the home or as an aid when you want to meditate or open up your senses.
How to use them:
1. Place the stick in an incense holder. If you do not have one, a bowl of sand or pebbles works just as well. Or use ash like the Japanese (read below how). Make sure that the stick is stable and can not fall over.
2. Light the tip of the stick.
3. Blow out the flame, keep the tip glowing.
Do as the Japanese:
In Japan, a lot of incense is used. There, the traditional substrate is flattened ash in a jar. The Japanese prefer to use all-white rice straw ash, which is adorable and very fine, but it is just as easy to use pure wood ash from your fireplace. Then first sift the ash into a strainer to filter out any pieces of charcoal.
An ash bed is a very beautiful base for incense and has the advantage that the ash that falls from the incense itself is not visible.
